Zankar Savalia is the founder of Edge Life (Edge Lifestyle Products Private Limited), a product company working to bring useful knowledge and technology within everyday reach. He works solo and in public, building narrow single-purpose products that run in a browser, need no account, and are designed for budget phones and slow connections.
What he builds, and why
Edge Life exists to work on the distance between what is already possible and what is actually practical for most people. Something gets proven, published or built — and then cost, complexity, vocabulary or access keep it out of reach for years. The answer is narrow products: one job each, finished, rather than another platform trying to hold your attention.
Every product has to answer one question before it ships — what can someone now do that was harder before? — and carry an honest account of where it stops. That means each page states its limitations, who it isn't for, what it does not replace, and exactly what the software does and doesn't decide. Several of the products contain no AI at all, and say so.
In practice that produces the products listed on this site, and a running set of notes about building them, including the parts that didn't work. Edge Lifestyle Products Private Limited was incorporated in 2024.
